SF/Anime Flea Market
Aug. 23rd, 2012 09:33 pmYes, there will be another SF/Anime Flea Market in Toronto on Sept. 8. If you're anywhere near the Toronto area, then you ought to come on downtown and buy some junk from us. Shain and I will have a table; we've been doing some housecleaning and will have a lot of comics and cartoon type books, Peanuts, Pogo, etc.
It's time once again for the Friends of the Merril annual SF / Anime Flea Market, one-stop shopping for all of your genre needs. We'll have books, DVDs, games, costume supplies, collectibles, and more available at bargain basement prices.
The Flea Market will be held on Saturday, September 8th, from 10 AM to 4 PM in the Beeton Auditorium at the Toronto Reference Library, 789 Yonge Street.
This is where they hold TCAF so if you've been to that then you know where to go! The weather's been really nice the past couple of years for this, and there's always the chance of seeing celebrities wandering the streets because the Toronto International Film Festival is happening that week as well and the Reference Library is right next to the classy hotels and shopping district where the beautiful people congregate.
So come on down, that's Saturday the 8th. Bring money!!
