Mister Kitty DARES you to venture into the BLACKNESS with this latest installment of brave scientists peering into the unknown and braving the dark blackness.

Trying real hard to not see it as a metaphor for segregation, but it IS a comic from 1953 that constantly reminds us of the evil blackness and how the blackness surrounds us and must be kept at bay with every resource at our command. It reads like the kind of literature groups like the John Birch Society only hand out to 'true believers' if you know what I mean. Don't miss it, it's the 300th installment of STUPID COMICS!

Seriously, I spent a good whack of time in the 90s involved in the conspiracy culture, what with the Phenomicon and all, and the deeper you get into any of these whacko rabbit holes, the more you find at the bottom of their UFO paranoia or their MIB paranoia or their Evil Communist Conspiracy paranoia lies good old fashioned racism. Check out David Icke or Louis Farrakhan sometime and you'll see what I mean; hang around with serious no-tax "gold fringe flag" guys long enough, and after a few beers the rants about taxes and Ohio not being ratified as a state will segue into rants about (insert ethnic slur here) and how they're stealing the country from the White Man. Not that the paranoid style in American politics is anything new, if anything these guys are the last bastion of proud American political parties like the "Anti Masonic Party" or the "Know-Nothings". It's just that the last ones standing are also worried about space lizards.
