Here's what I'm up to this weekend at the Anime North! Mark your calendars.

Friday at 5pm Neil Nadelman and I will be doing "Anime's Guilty Pleasures" where we talk about shows we enjoy that we really shouldn't for one reason or another. With video examples. Audience participation is encouraged. 5pm International C

Friday at 7:30 is the Nominoichi -the garage sale event that has everybody talking! Shain and I will have a table and be selling cool stuff including VHS, comics, DVDs, video games, and old MADs. 7:30, Hall F, TCC Bring money!

Friday at 10pm is ANIME HELL. You know what to do. Plaza Ballroom.

Saturday at 3pm Shaindle Minuk and I will be talking about Shojo anime from the 60s and 70s with plenty of clips so we'll talk fast. International B

Saturday at 4pm it's time for the Voyages Of The Space Battleship Yamato! I'll take you all the way to Iscandar and back with stops at the Comet Empire, the Bolar Commonwealth, the Dark Nebula, the Water Planet Aquarius, a few abortive revivals, and the Resurrection and live-action films! International C

Sunday at 2pm is the CLASSIC ANIME COLLEGE, your two hour course in all world knowledge as expressed through classic anime. History, science, physical education, learn it all with anime. I'm told there will be coffee. International B

Also I would like to point out that Neil's TOTALLY LAME ANIME will be returning to International C at 8pm on Saturday!! It will be crowded!
