I have left the Anime Hell gettin-together video editing party until now, the last weekend before Anime North. I usually try to get it knocked out before now. On the other hand it's a long weekend and it's supposed to rain Sunday and Monday so there's my shut-in excuse. I'm halfway done anyway and have a lot of neat stuff this time, should be a good show.
It has been an absolutely brain-smashing couple of weeks at work. We're training a new guy so I'm working this weird shift that has me coming home at 2am. Of course last weekend I worked a Saturday which meant I was into work at 6am. Took me all week to recover from THAT one. To be honest it feels like I've been working crazy weirdo times ever since... since before the move, certainly... since last summer? I am not 20 any more, all this crazy flipping around has me reeling like a drunken sailor in a carnival funhouse during a force 5 gale.
All of this is in aid of telling YOU, dear readers, that there's a new Found Sound up and that's the last Mister Kitty thing you're going to get until after Anime North is over. The combination of crazy work and staring at confusing snippets of 30 year old Japanese cartoons about karate men fighting bears has me hunkered down in 'action-reaction mode' where the hindbrain foot gland takes over and all extraneous non-essentials are stripped away, leaving only the gleaming metal of my robot fighting machine.
