my job at AWA
Sep. 14th, 2010 11:17 amHere's what I'm doing this weekend.
THURSDAY is the Super Happy Fun Sell. If you're selling you can get in at 6, and if you're buying doors open at 7. Bring money!
FRIDAY:
Opening Ceremonies are at Noon! I will throw candy at you.
Anime Hell is 10pm!
SATURDAY:
Neil and I are doing a panel titled "Anime Guilty Pleasures" about shows we watch that we are a little embarrassed about. Audience members will be asked to reveal their own guilty secrets. 12:30 Kennesaw.
At midnight it's time for the OLD SCHOOL CLASSROOM in Stanhope starring crazy old shows you have never seen before, including Astro Boy knockoffs, forgotten Matsumoto TV specials, and seaweed ninjas. Yes, ninjas.
SUNDAY:
Noon in Galleria 104 it's "My Life On The Super Robot D List", all about the forgotten robots that fill the nooks and crannies of the genre. Then at 3:30pm in the same room it's "Why Anime Cons?" with reps from anime cons explaining why they feel the need to start anime cons.
5pm it's Closing Ceremonies. Probably no candy. Go home!
