Sep. 1st, 2010 12:14 pmThanks to Grant for naming Mister Kitty one of his favorite writers in Tom Spurgeon's "Name 5 Favorite Writers About Comics You Like"! I guess we should get back to updating Mister Kitty sometime soon. This week, actually. I have had a whole month off and I can really feel it. We've got a pretty good backlog of comics and records, though.
I will probably spend Labor Day weekend editing video and inking comics pages. Not a bad way to spend a holiday weekend. Gonna try to hit the CNE on Friday. Traffic in the neighborhood has been really terrible and while I like having the CNE so close, it has its down side as well.
Last year when we were in Japan we were thinking real hard about visiting the Shotaro Ishinomori Manga Museum. Well Ardith Carlton did just that and wrote a great article about it that you should go read at the link. Then you should send us a couple thousand bucks so we can go back to Japan and visit the Ishinomori Museum ourselves.
