We're home from our massive holiday vacation time. Had a lot of fun and saw a lot of folks and if we missed you, then we will catch you next year!! There was a great New Year's party at Gordon & Megan's that involved a couple hundred dollars worth of fireworks (photos to come) and a neighbor chiming in with his shotgun, and the next day we were on our way to Nashville, where we had dinner with Brooke and her pal Matt and gossipped like old washerwomen about anime con gossip. We stopped at Great Escape and then headed north, only stopping in two antique malls where we found crazy stuff. Photos to come. We got to Cincy in time to eat at Frisch's Big Boy and spent the night at Greg and Melissa's and Children and Andy and James were there too. Sad news: Burbank's is closed; I mean closed for good, no more of their wonderful sweet cornbread and BBQ. Sunday we got up, bid farewell to all, hit the Fairfield antique mall which got a speedy runthrough, had Skyline for lunch, and soon were on our way north past the big butter Jesus. We stopped at the antique mall in Findlay and found more crazy stuff. I mean seriously, stuff that doesn't make any sense. Photos to come. We crossed into Canada without being assaulted by police or customs officials and once past Windsor the weather really socked in. High winds, blowing snow, icy conditions. I counted six cars in the ditch before I quit counting because it was too scary. One minivan was on its side. Past Woodstock, things cleared and we got dinner at a truck stop and then made the final little leg home.

Hope everybody had a great New Years Eve and is staying warm in the exciting, frozen year of 2010!
