Monday already?? We went to Nausicaa last night at the TIFF. Great old-school burn-in subtitles 35mm print and a big crowd for a movie that has played here at least three times in the past month with the Ghibli festival. It's one of the movies I wanted to see "on the big screen" at least once, so I can cross this one off the bucket list.
Spent most of Sunday evening as I always do getting Zero Fighter ready. Both it and the Element Of Surprise this week contain giant tractor trailer trucks. No, we're not planning this sort of thing out beforehand, things just work out like that sometimes.
Saturday we did a little flea marketing, which was largely unproductive, though we did get a set of Twilight Zone episodes on the Blu-Ray. One of the extras is an episode of "Desilu Theater" with a Rod Serling TZ-style script, with Desi doing the intro and the exit narration. Man, I wish he'd been the narrator for EVERY Twilight Zone episode. Shain purged a ton of books that we took to the BMV for cash. We have a different stack we're taking to The River, and a third stack that's Goodwill bound. I finally got one of those glass cases for my robots so we're moving shelves around and trying to consolidate. Call it Spring Cleaning, I guess.
Friday I got one of the discs of video clips ready for Anime North panels. Only three to go! That night we had Passover Seder with Shain's family which is always nice. Next year in Toronto!
