As long as you get it into the hotel safely inside a suitcase, you're good. The Waverly lobby staff is on the lookout for alcohol entering the hotel, and if they see people bringing in beer, wine, or coolers full of moonshine, it will get confiscated and held safely until you check out. Nothing AWA can do about it.

So... bring an extra suitcase, keep your drinks in it, wheel it in like a boss right on up to the room.
