I had actually been thinking of just putting another set of fabric in front of the curtains that are already there; the walls are white and white curtains are kinda boring, so having yellow facing the interior would be at least not as boring as white. But I don't know if the brackets would handle double the weight.

The windows are huge - one whole wall of our unit is window, 11 and a half feet tall and what, 30 feet wide? I forget. Merely one of the challenges of urban life.
