DragonCon co-founder back in Gwinnett County jail

The co-founder of the science fiction convention fiction DragonCon is back in the Gwinnett County jail to face child molestation charges dating back to 2000.

Edward Eliot Kramer, 51, of Duluth, was booked into jail Saturday after after being extradited from Connecticut, where he was arrested last fall for violating his bond conditions.

He's back, and this time I don't believe Bob Barr is going to be handling his case.

it's still a great time to talk about gun control

Yesterday was deemed a day to appreciate your guns in America, and boy did we. Five people were shot at gun shows in North Carolina, Ohio and Indiana. These were not, however, the only instances of gun violence yesterday.


These aren't escaped lunatics, these aren't scary ethnic gang-bangers, these aren't Christian Identity terrorists - these are your friends and neighbors, who are absolutely convinced that THEY are responsible gun owners who know ALL ABOUT GUN SAFETY and THEY would NEVER use their firearms in such an irresponsible fashion. Except they did and they do and they are going to keep doing it, they are going to continue to be a danger to themselves and others, and any time you bring up the fact that shooting themselves and others might be a bad idea, they start threatening to kill people. Because they're responsible gun owners who aren't crazy. Right?

it's 1969 okay all across the USA another year with nothing to do

I am counting the minutes before somebody chimes in to correct me on some trivial detail about SOBAKASU PUTCHI or HIMITSU NO AKKO-CHAN because you know it's coming. But still; I got to pimp ATTACK NO. 1 and research a bunch of really super-obscuro stuff like "Pinch & Punch". Found out "Wonder-Kun's Dream Space Voyage" was live-action/animation. All this weird stuff of interest only to myself, maybe. Still, it's all groovy. Thanks Geoff!!
